I'm in the same boat you are, limited knowledge of the market and observations that don't make sense.
I for one think a few people sold after learning there wasn't going to be a pop on retirement if shares. Secondly I personally believe we have a note holder selling shares t j at aren't qualified for the dividend, knowing the MM's will simply cut the share price in half at the divy and their dumping now with no intention of getting caught short or dealing with a due bill on shares they never agreed to not receive a dividend. On the other hand I can be pretty thick, so who knows.
