All good points about big pharma. Unfortunately, unless govt gets involved (not politicians), over pricing of drugs and opioid abuse will continue. Got to get profit making out of it, but unlikely in our society. I have mixed feelings about young adults smoking marijuana because I live with one. He is a great kid but lacks motivation for college or a grade so lives off the bare minimum and seeks daily euphoria like getting high, video games, drinking, chilling. When I kick him out at some future date, he will likely join the homeless ranks. Not saying marijuana is the cause, but it is just one more behavior he has to support that he can’t afford while I feed and house him.
