Here is my concern, and maybe it's no big deal, but we are having bids at 2.65 right now.
If OTC puts the share count in, the stock price goes up, when it is at 2.74, we see a price of let's say 3.95, you then start seeing bids of maybe 3.90 or greater if they are less then 3.95, but you also see asking prices higher as well. and stock might go higher.
Right now, stock has potential of going lower, then OTC puts in the stock amount and we then sit at a much lower stock price, all because of a 4 - 5 day delay from OTC which gives a chance for the stock to be driven down in price.
It might all balance out in the end, but OTC putting it in while stock price is higher is better in my opinion and currently, the stock has been higher since the shares have been retired the past 3 days. But you still see bid prices of 2.65 right now, so share price has gone lower.
