It was a deal between Protein Design Labs (now AbbVie) and Progenics that CYDY inherited when purchasing PRO 140. Maybe PDL made the molecule for Progenics?
As far as these payments, I think they are on CYDY....whether they pay for it with these milestone payments or other funding they have available at the time due. I understood NP that $50M is the low-end cost to launch a product......so I think this is BP expense (not sure if that is part of the $90M or not) and they will pay all launch costs. Maybe someone more knowledgeable of these type of deals can clarify if $90M milestone payments include the launch costs or not?
