Based on my lifetime experience, and also Finance Books studied in universities, which I'm pretty sure they should have backup to put those in book, and everyone consistently teaches them in Business Degrees.
... managers (CEO, CFO, and so on) are primarily responsible to increase the value of the stock in public companies and equity in non-public ones.
BUT, the way the can increase the value can be done in multiple ways. The may make decisions to increase it now, yet it will cost more in the future years.
Or they can bear some cost now, in order to maximize the values in future years.
That's the CEOs role to primarily make a decision on that (based on Books - not going to argue with anyone, unless you have a MBA or something)
CEO is appointed by Board, generally. Board is appointed by Shareholders.
Shareholder can sue the corporation, and replace individuals if they have a case, and obviously a lot of shares.
I personally think the corp should in parallel with what they do keep filing cheap INDs for Phase 2s. So, Nader IMO is doing the thing, I would have done. We have seen this can potentially work on Hepatitis B, MS and other was some chronic thing that Ohm sent this AM (which should be emailed with findings to the Corp)
Regarding the share price...
This stock is going to be and stay cheap... I have seen it so many times..
Until it is NOT.
So, go make your money somewhere else until this time for this comes.
There are pretty solid bio stocks out there to make good money.
