I think the CMO or CSO has become mostly ceremonial with most of the trials, animal work handled by consultants Saccha, Lalezari etc. NP seems very good at science and networking with these Drs.--strangely much better than RP was, to help consolidate and properly structure the presentation of the data. He is a very smart person despite his limitations socially and his limited ability to communicate effectively sometimes.
