Your argument is either NP was in the wrong and RP is correct Or NP is in the wrong because RP is lying and NP should have known earlier. Either way NP is wrong I guess. Hence my quote.
With RPs background it is 100% acceptable for NP to assume RP is capable without checking over his shoulder. Then after 6 months of waiting, delaying, he reached a point that he needed to look into the matter himself. He didn’t like what he found out. All in my opinion. Should he have done it sooner. Maybe. But given RP’s background, I completely understand why he wasn’t concerned for quite some time.
