From what I gather the Woodford holdings were finally liquidated, it wasn't an action he wanted, but was forced to do, but they were holding down the price. I believe there is growing awareness that the trial will be unblinded once a new SAP has been submitted to the regulators, hopefully in time for the full data to be presented at SNO. The final day for late Abstract submissions to SNO is September 1st, so if they've not unblinded by then, they hopefully have submitted something that's at least worthy of scheduling a presentation.
SNO which is in early November as I remember it would permit them to make a presentation that is up to the minute, so at minimum I would hope the trial was unblinded by then, and much could be reported, even if it wasn't fully documented.
I don't know what information the company will present, but I would expect that at least top line data will be announced once the trial is unblinded. There are other things they could announce, and I certainly would expect them to announce a presentation at SNO once it's official that they'll be making the presentation. I don't know when SNO notifies those submitting Abstracts who is, or isn't accepted, but suspect it would be by the end of September.
I believe we'll see the price moving up substantially in anticipation of top line results, and if they're as good as many expect, it will move much higher after them. At some point before a BLA submission, I believe NWBO will either accept a partner for the vaccine, or be approached for a buy out, or buy in by BP. By buy in I'm speaking of a BP essentially taking a major position in the company, rather than a partnership in the single vaccine. Of course the key will be in the data, if it's as positive as many believe, the only question will be how many billions will it take to make a deal.
