Well, that's not really all that reliable as you might not be troubled with hurricanes every year. I think the best way to know if fall is here is to stick your head out of the door and listen for some asshole* yelling GO COCKS**. Once you hear that, then, if fall isn't here you can rest assured that it's just around the corner.
* OK, I admit it, there have been times when I have helped "yell in" the fall.
** Someone yelling GO TIGERS is another sure fire indication that fall is either here or very close. And that is especially true this year. I think the Clemonnites have a pretty good chance of going 15 and 0 one more time
