The value of gold remains constant. The price is a reflection of how much our currency is worth. The Fiat currency we pass around is just worthless paper with numbers printed on it. The only value it has is what the government assigns to it. So while the paper still has some perceived value, it would be wise to trade some of it for the metal that's retained its value for 5000 years. IMO.
