Updated Progress Report
Dear Shareholders, August 14, 2019
I have an update for you on our consistent step-by-step progress on the continuous effort by our
IoT Team to bring our NB IoT mPCIe modem board to market. We have updated the CFS/MTR
for BC66-mPCIe file v.2 and that has also been released. We are now presently undergoing the
PTCRB test of the BC66 file and we expect this test will be finished with the lab by the beginning
of September, 2019, with the final test report issued within two (2) weeks thereafter. This will
wrap up the entire testing and release of the NB IoT BC66-mPCIe modem.
For the BG96-mPCIe modem, which also requires FCC testing, we are presently working on the
CFS/MTR for the BG96 version. We have produced 8 sample units for certification process and
will submit the samples this month. We also expect to test LwM2M this month, as well as testing
the additional SMS function on the BC66-mPCie modem with NB IoT network. Since these
products are designed for US market working with a specific telecom network, we are required to
complete all of our testing here in the US to ensure full U.S compliance.
What is the difference between a BC66 and a BG96 modem – simply the data uplink and downlink
speed rate. The BG96 modem has faster data transmission capability. Either unit is the data driver
within any IoT device – some devices, by their nature and use, require faster data transmission
because they are used in more critical applications.
So, please stay tuned valued Shareholders for additional exciting news as we push to bring our
innovative IoT products to market, in concert with our telecom partner. Step-by-step we are
making sure that all of our products are fully certified and compliant.
Respectfully,
Max C. Li.
