Yes, IMO his reputation and those 8M shares are the primary reason for this lawsuit. If terminated ‘for cause’ CytoDyn has the option to buy those back for $.001/share. If he resigned, RP is entitled to those shares. Not sure if the vesting period comes into play, but RP knows those shares are worth 100s of millions and thus the reason for the lawsuit IMO. Maybe CytoDyn will settle with him down the road and at that point is still likely worth multiples of $1.3M listed in the lawsuit.
