Agree. The whole "Good Reason" to leave and all other thing, put together, was just to get this.
As mentioned it on the other side, they likely planned to give it to him (or negotiate it), as they receive a letter from his lawyer. RP's lawyers convinced this to go for a lawsuit, as opposed to negotiate internally (this is usually the last resort, and then if it gets nowhere go for the lengthy path. )
He didn't do what everyone would do, and also the Corp likely waiting for him to do.(as we remember from NP, that they are on good terms - when likely he was waiting for an offer from RP)
Now, he might lose it all. So, he has to sugarcoat it with all different reasons. Good thing judges are no fool, otherwise no one will invest in a public Corp in the world.
