In the trial, and I know this from researching inducing/maintenance trails months ago when cydy announced, they had an induction phase 1 or maybe 2 months with pills, then switched to IM. So I would think they would need to continue this for that issue, i.e. patients aren't going to be seen and given IM day 1, maybe after 1 month or so.
With leronlimab, Dr. Patterson said they thought they could determine R5 immediately, and also receptor occupancy. If he was successful, maybe they can get leronlimab in the patient within the first few days.
Also with leronlimab, you get the added bonus of personalized feedback from NP (from 2016)
