Bad idea.
Jim Cramer is a former “short” himself. Look him up on YouTube and you’ll see older videos of him explaining how he use to manipulate stocks when he was either short or long. Someone called into him a few years ago and mentioned another biotech I was following because the stock was rising quickly due to pending news. Long story short, the stock got crushed, and lost over 400% of its value over the 2 weeks following the call into Cramer’s show. Do I believe that it was Cramer’s fault? No, but he knows the game as well as anyone and I believe him and others were made aware of an opportunity to make easy money.
