That's great that Chad Thomas is behind the push to China.
I also am an Electrical Engineer, my BS and MS degrees are in EE. I did hardware design (integrated circuit design) for many years before pivoting to software design when IBM sold off the Federal Systems Division I had worked for in the 80's and early 90's. Anyway good to see another EE on here! In fact I'm paying a visit to my undergrad school in a couple of weeks after Labor Day to meet with the Dean of Engineering as I'm getting more involved with the EE department there as I approach my retirement years (I'm 60 years old). It is great to see the latest research the EE department is doing and I like keeping updated on all of it.
