More likely he simply doesn't care. A lot of what's posted on Seeking Alpha is not about proper valuation of a stock but to boost whichever stocks you already own.
DoctoRx owns GSK and is boosting GSK at the expense of GILD. I just skimmed through the article very fast but some of his assertations seemed off.
Mentioning a competitor that will take market share away from GSK diminishes his boosting of GSK.
