I have seen some complain about $12M and then $3M TO as disappointing. Just for significance, DPMI was trading at 1.60 yesterday, actually was over $2 yesterday at one point. They just announced $7M offering this morning and the sp tanked 60%, below $1, now 83 I see this again and again with the pre-revenue nasdaq biotechs. This pre-funded warrant I'm seeing a lot of lately is just a fancy word for share, it helps the buyers no go over the threshold requiring a 13d or 13g. Probably end up below 50c. BPMX has a similar fate on $4M I believe.
DelMar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQMPI) ("DelMar" or the "Company", a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel cancer therapies, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 6,750,000 shares of its common stock (or pre-funded warrants to purchase common stock in lieu thereof) and warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 6,750,000 shares of common stock. Each share of common stock (or pre-funded warrant) is being sold together with one warrant to purchase one share of common stock at a combined effective price to the public of $1.00 per share and accompanying warrant.
