The only reason I can think of for doing this is they are worried that if the dividend is paid the day after uplisting, then the pps would take a big hit immediately, which of course looks very bad. By having a pay date of Oct 31 they get around this problem. But why are they just now thinking of this? I was always concerned the pps would tank of pay date, because most people have not done the math to realize it is just a 13% reduction.
