I need to explain why it is so complicated, most of smart home solution today, you cannot transfer to another account, such as if you install a NEST, when you want to sell your house or rent it out, you will have a problem to transfer your NEST over or smart lighting and electrical outlets. Same as Alexa.
Tri Cascade and T-Mobile are working together to fix this problem. When you have a smart house, you want to sell it as a smart house not return around become a regular house.
