I believe you are correct about NP chumming waters. The runway for securing financing is not very long, so if there are going to be competitive offers, prospective bidders know they will have to step up quickly. IMHO, the term sheet NP mentioned is probably pretty decent. Of course, the terms, conditions, and contingencies are going to be the determine factors in whether or not that particular deal moves forward.
