I have wondered about this, If we go with multiple licensing deals then wouldn't it be difficult to get a BO? Could be the lack of final deals being inked is because the bigger fish is materializing. I'm sure some BP wants to make sure they are not buying something that already has chunks sold off.

Also, I think it is a myth that BP is looking to get a great price for this - BP historically pays up for the right deal. I think the thought process is to fine the best fit to their existing pipline and or future plans and then the cost to get the deal done is not as important as we think. This is not a Ebay auction. The internal politics of any BP gets behind an idea and it is an unstoppable eventuality, as long as they convince them selves that their career advancement will benefit on many levels. What the BOD sees as the future, what the MA dept finds and what Mgmt starts getting behind is a one way process, cytodyn really does not have much to do with what crazy politics within BP.
