Or just someone who got spooked because they took all of their profits from a great stock like CTIX with lots of potential and several ways to win several drugs and numerous preclincal studies and clinical trials, and bet it all on a binary event on another stock that was win/lose on one event.

Chasing events like that is like casino gamblers who move with all their chips from table to table chasing the ones where people seem to be winning. They always bust out. They go through a spooked out, or busted out phase as well. New players always come in with fresh money to bet against the house.

New buyers will come in to buy up those CTIX shares, which is betting with the house with good odds IMO. The two can't compare just like CTIX does not compare with that other stock.
