My brother worked in NYC the last few decades for Clifford Chance Rodgers and Wells. Took early retirement because he could no longer stand the city life and moved to Mexico to live cheap.
He went back the last few weeks to revisit friends and could not believe how it's changed. Lots of small businesses closed up since they raised the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour.
He ate breakfast at a local restaurant and there was a shortage of waitress, so his order was taken by a busboy. All he wanted was a bowl of oatmeal with some fruit and it cost him ten bucks.
Hope those people making the new minimum wage like those new food prices. Someone has to pay. People are fleeing NYC and it's not just the wealthy.
