PTCBR certification is an industry wide set of operating standards & qualifications that networks and devices all work together in compatible fashion. Again also huge news, stay patient its about to be the real deal.  
Don't dismiss the air quality monitor effort either, since they are working with Duke Energy the energy industry is looking for ways automate measuring air quality around its wells and infrastructure assets at lower costs.
