I think you are right, I was really confused as to why they extended the TO and there was no PR news before or during the CC. They were avoiding any issues with those that did or were going to convert by revealing The removal of Dr Pestell. It is good they are being careful about these issues to avert any legal hurdles. Clearly shows how much thought is being put into their actions.
