Few things are regulated by CCR5 in promoting cancers ...:
1. ) Make cancer cells metastasize ( GPS effect )
2. ) Activate DNA mechanism , so cancer cells becoming resistant.
3. ) Regulate body anti-tumor response...:
We know from Dr Patterson that at least one way is that CCR5 is expressed on the population of immune cells call T regulatory cells which inhibits response to cancers .
