Coming up: U.S. April trade gap
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- The government will issue its estimate of the April trade deficit at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch forecast a 7.3% reduction in the deficit to $48.0 billion, after the trade gap widened sharply to $51.8 billion in March. This would continue a see-saw pattern in the deficit seen this year. Some of the improvement in April is expected to come from declines in both the volume and price of imported oil
