Fiat123, your reasoning is wrong .... Microsoft estimates that a device is infected one out of every 14 pages one visits with a new keylogger. In addition, WiFi can unfortunately be one of the methods that a hacker can infect your system with a keylogger. The Hospitality industry is therefore an excellent place to educate the consumer that they need protection. They are not charging you for the WiFi, but simply taking the opportunity to inform you that while at their establishment you can protect yourself. As a consumer, I would want to know and for many people this will be their first exposure to this cutting edge technology. I would also appreciate the Hotel for bring this to my attention. Better to be proactive that need to be reactive.
