Re: InvestWisely #494
I was originally shocked at hearing that Mexus was only leaching 2500 tons, thinking that the amount would be much greater, but after looking back thru the PR’s I saw that they actually did say in a June 03rd PR, that they were doing a pilot test which explains the small amount of ore.
June 3rd PR
“Approximately 5700 tons of high-grade quartz vein material will be broken on site and hauled to the crushing and leaching site. The estimated grade for this material is in the order of 5 to 10 g/t Au and 9 to 12 g/t Ag. In addition, Mexus is testing and pilot processing material from the adjacent shear zone which is averaging 1.8 g/t Au and 7 g/t Ag.
July 23rd PR
“It is expected to accumulate 5 to 7 oz. the first week with leaching continuing until the return solution stabilizes. “
I’m no expert but that sounds like a pretty decent return to me for a test run.
