A few of us, from another board, did right well with several different banks....For a short period of time, I owned 15 different bank stocks at one time. I now have just one, CIBH.

I owned Bank of the Carolinas twice and did well both times. The first time I bought a 1000 shares for a buck each and sold them for 2.00 just 3 or 4 days later.

I made a nice little pile on FMAR. It went from .05 to 2.97. I bought in at around .50 and sold at a bit above two bucks. it is now kaput.

FSBS fell to .0066 and as of today it has a pps over a buck. I bought in at .05 and .08 and sold when it went over .30. I'm still trying to figure out out this bank lived.

I bought a butt load of SGBP at .05 and sold at .15. It is now at .007 and door nail dead!

I did well with IDBC, now IDBCQ

GFLB Great Florida Bank went from around .50 to over 3.00 in less than an hour. I only had a 1000 shares.

I got AFBA at .10 and sold it for over a buck. Alas, I only managed to get only 10,000 shares at a dime each

I bought 2000 shares of FOFN at a bit above 2.00 and sold near the top, I'm still kicking myself for not pawning the DDD to get extra money for more shares. LOL

I did right well on a few others.

I also got my butt kicked on a couple of Banks, Mountain Bank and Trust in Hendersonville NC being my biggest butt whuppin' It had a BV of around 1.25 and the bank was sold for .36 a share.
