It is a desperation ploy for sure. They know the clock is ticking and 2Q results are only a month away from now. They are running out of time, this is the last gasp attack. As others have mentioned these lawfirms are good at cherry picking things and focusing on one thing the company allegedly did not do. The lawsuit won't go anywhere in fact in other stocks I've seen the price plummet the same day the lawsuit came out with huge volume of shares traded. The fact that didn't happen yesterday after the lawsuit was announced during the trading day, says a lot to me. I have yet to see any of these lawsuits actually see the light of day, that is I've never seen them actually go to court. Maybe there are some, just not the ones for stocks I've been invested in.

Also, I would not be surprised if today we see more lawfirms announce, usually several announce for the same lawsuit! It is ridiculous, but seems several lawfirms vie to be the one who gets to be the lead on the lawsuit. So I would not be surprised at all if we see another announcement today for the same class action lawsuit.
