Well Tales, at some point they will convert, right? Until they do the interest increases. When they do convert the share count increases.
As far as the pump and dump, you've mentioned the volume. Much of the volume you speak is generated by fairy tale claims you say you believed. The float increases every year. Someone is selling shares.
