It very well could be.
I will have to find and re-listen, but my initial interpretation/thought was a US investment bank and not Chinese. After looking a little it could very well be a Chinese Bank. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (USA) NA is located in New York and aligns with the many trips there (along with any other major bank too).
Per the article below, China has 4/5 of the world's largest banks. But when looking at largest investment banks pulls up Goldman, JPM, Barclays, etc. as it seems some of these banks don't break out individual sectors.
