Was checking out the new offices again as "the move" is close
Watched the Newport video update again that you will find a link in the board info or the stickie above
"They should be done with the construction in July"
Remember VERB was going to lease 4,900 square feet of space
Remember their current corporate headquarters is approximately 2,800 square feet so the 4,900 was a significant increase
But in May, Rory said they got the whole floor and it's about 8,200 square feet
Did they get some extra free space or bumped up the lease?
Well, not exactly bumping
I'd call it super sizing
A whooping 68% increase from what they thought they needed in March
Now why in the hell would they nearly double the space they needed?
What happened in Q2 that they needed to add more space?
The office is the whole floor in the building you see with the white roof here.
Going from 1/2 the floor to the whole floor?
From the filings:
"The Company currently anticipates that the Lease will commence in July 2019."
So maybe they move this week, next week, but likely this month sometime if there wasn't any delays with the build out.
Going to be exciting to see the 3 VERB signs on the building. It's a pretty area as you can see from the photos below.
Also was great to hear this again:
"The company is doing incredibly well. On just a pure fundamentals basis, the company is doing extraordinary well."
"The wins that we are getting every week with huge new clients coming on. It's really a very, very exciting time here"
In connection with this post there is something I'll post later this week that I think will set off some fireworks.
It's so obvious. It's right in front of everyone, but no one has ever mentioned it. At least not here.
Maybe some shareholders will be stopping by the boat show a year after uplist and do a little shopping?
