Don't wish to give the wrong impression here; I am by no means a brainiac in these matters, just one of the messengers...& with a little luck, maybe a few smarts rub off here & there among us
Regarding that 'question' critical cat posed; he (she?) was just quoting the verbiage in a section of that article I posted earlier, which I presume (like many immunoassays) uses specific proteins or enzymes as biomarkers to seek-out the target, which then triggers an optical reaction with the attached QDots: https://www.businessnewsaus.com.au/articles/h...nsion.html
