How did we get to the point where government beaurocrats actually get involved in designing the clinical trials of a private company?
IMO, this is where having a renowned name in the HIV field leading the company in these discussions with the FDA would have a more positive impact than an unknown engineer coming on cold to the FDA (initially) and trying to sell them on what your new drug is going to do.
