Anything good for QMC is welcome here.
I have a Google alert for quantum dots and everyday I get offers for $4000 QD market research reports (and surprisingly most still include QDVision!).
There are about 6 QD companies in the reports. My feeling is QMC will dominate due to mass production, highest performance, widest variety of nanomaterials, etc., but some of the others have the ability to survive by pursuing their own niche. Nanoco could specialize in plant growing films or lights, another might develop some display tech, etc. Take Bio-med for example. There are many applications from Assays to Imaging, and a market in just one application can bring success. QMC is going after 3 - $100Billion /year industries, QDLED, QDSC and Displays, but is also developing a Nano/QD R&D center in Assam in the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster being built. Much more than a "niche."
