Yes, if sp was higher, no one would be complaining. I see this in almost all clinical bios with pre-market spikes I trade. They announce some result which spikes the sp, then the same day or next day, an offering, which drops the price below was it was before news.
I traded PTN lately, the sp was 1.30 on Friday, fda approval announcemed after hours on Vyleesi, short description lady viagra, sp spiked to over $2. Offering announced almost immediately. I bought 10k, when the price dropped back below 1.30, thinking their 60M milestone payment +40M dilution+Europe market sill for sale would keep the up. Well the sp dropped below $1 yesterday. I had to buy a lot below $1 and sell at 1.19 to break even. They I bought back at $1.05. But just crazy after FDA approval.
