I see that happens a lot with nasdaq stock, pre-market they will run it up before anyone can buy or sell and then sell it down all day (like CTRV yesterday). But it is harder with otc opening at 9:30. If there is no selling pressure and good volume, the algo will slowly move the price up, which has happened over the last week, but that can only happen when others stop selling (paulson, etc).
