Your way off on your description of Chicago, particularly the tax increase number you pulled out of your ass.
Of course the 3 cities you mentioned have GDP's larger than the State you live in, and the taxes ARE redistributed to weak-ass GDP Red States so you can continue to survive, even though your roads and bridges and schools and health are for shit.
