Thank you Trding! That was my initial thoughts is that these early deaths for delta32 individuals likely doesn't apply to leronlimab.
I have been trying to keep current on CCR5 breakthroughs and its publicity (or lack of). The HIV cures made big news and were trending and then shortly later the early deaths linked to delta32 individuals and the gene editing twins took over for negative publicity. My hope is that maybe the gene editing (SGMO, CRSP, EDIT, etc) and CAR-T therapies will not become competitors to leronlimab anytime soon.
