Speaking of evil forces:
Been to Normandy. From the beach, looking up at the Germans strong hold, went inside the Nazi tunnels, looked out their machine gun stations, looked like there was no way we could take the hill/cliff. Went to the Pegasus Bridge, saw one glider that crashed. Very strategic victory.
The most gruesome place was a huge building that I can't remember the name of, that was filled with bones, mostly executed Jews. Looking through the window, all one could see were the bones.
Going through the war zone, one can still see and get in the foxholes and blast holes. Farmers are still blow up by old ordinance when tilling the soil.
