One of the things to consider regarding why so little information is coming out of QMC is in regards to NDAs. When you're a company with few employees (<20) and under an NDA with a large established company for either a joint venture or production contract, any news other than what is allowed by the NDA is a "leak". Not too hard with only a handful of employees to figure out who the leaker is.
The faucet for the flow of information has been shut off. Hopefully for good reason.
