I agree that the patent situation is a mess and the Appeals Court decision against us was a travesty.
That being said, when we thought we would win, there seemed to be almost unanimous agreement, here, that the Supreme Court had previously made clear that they didn't want to be involved in resolving patent litigation. And therefore, our win would be irrevocable.
Either my memory is wrong, not for the first time, or has something substantively changed in the Supreme Court's outlook? Otherwise, legally, our hope seems to be with Congress, which most people don't often believe.
And a shout out to the people petitioning members on our behalf.
