Now we know that CCR5 might have multiply roles in Infectious Diseases..

CCR5 play a role in variety on inflammatory and infectious diseases .
Study suggest that CCR5 protect against diseases caused by certain pathogens but may also participate in post infectious inflammatory responses producing further injury in others.
