The map and so many of the basic features that you see in the system - are indeed set up as bigger features that are not yet fully manifest
Think of them as a seed feature
A seed feature is rendering the minimum viable functional aspect of that particular larger feature
So the map feature uses our search engine that is extremely advanced – and is partly related to why there is a delay of 30 seconds before it’s available (if you hit all the right buttons at the moment in the test version you can have it render within 30 seconds)
It’s a long story but most of what you are seeing as feature rollouts are not hard coded features but are tied to a dynamic engine that lives off of the backend system which is code named ‘honeybadger’ but don’t share that code name
