What my Senator's senior field staffer told me is that letters, not emails or phone calls carry more weight. A call to the DC or field office or email will be entered into the pro/against tally. Letters, preferably hand written, will not only be read, but as I've experienced, answered. Politicians are sensitive to polls and numbers and pay attention to them in making their decisions on issues. Consistently go against the will of your constituents and you will find yourself out of office after the next election! Knowing this is why I fully support Cyber's solicitation of SH letters to their Senators & Representstives in defense of SFOR IP.
