The weird thing was yesterday or the day before I saw two different market makers on the ask...one at level one and the other at level 2 a few notches below the ask.. ..and they both had this odd amount of shares for sale...which was a large amount...It was something like 315,825...both of them had the exact amount of shares for sale....not a coincidence.
The only way that could be possible is if someone was selling, like Discovery for example, or another entity with a large amount of shares that has the ability to route through different market makers...
Retail holders don't have the ability to do that...unless they hold multiple accounts through different brokerages...
In the 20 years I've been trading I have never seen that before until yesterday.
