As we sit here at around 40 cents I have been asking myself, how long will this investment take to bring in 10X return. (What I truly believe will happen eventually.)
Since our CEO has compared us to GILD multiple times I looked at GILDs chart quickly and found that GILD hit a low of 0.24 in May 94'. Assuming you initiated a position in GILD similar to what I have in CYDY mid 50 cents, it would have taken 9 years Q1 2003 to have realize a 10X return on investment. If the company does proceed to go alone without BP BO/partnership is this timeline reasonable to compare? I ask this as someone who has little business/finance experience. I have been wrong now twice on what catalysts I thought would create significant value in share price.
